FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAYED UPDATE, BUT YESTERDAY WAS EVENTFUL, TO SAY THE LEAST. SO HERE IS HOW IT WENT DOWN...
AS PLANNED WE WENT FOR THE SHOW-ME-THE-SEX ULTRASOUND (THATS THE MEDICAL TERM USED FOR IT) AND DID NOT KNOW HOW LONG WE WOULD HAVE TO WAIT TO FIND OUT. IT WAS NOT THE NURSES FAULT THOUGH, IT WAS JUST VERY THOROUGH...MAKING SURE THE BABY WAS DOING WELL, CHECKING FOR ALL 4 HEART CHAMBERS (THEY WERE ALL THERE!!!!) AND SUCH....BUT THAT DID NOT STOP ALL THE NERVOUS ANTICIPATION (SEE PHOTO BELOW)
I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY I REALLY BELIEVED THAT AT ONE POINT IN TIME DURING THE EXAM, MY MOM WAS GOING TO YELL OUT "WILL YOU JUST FIND THE DAMN GIRL/BOY PARTS!" ANYHOW AFTER WHAT SEEMED LIKE AN ETERNITY OF WAITING, THE PARTS WERE FOUND AND IT IS A BABY.....
THATS RIGHT BOYS AND GIRLS...LET ME BE THE FIRST TO PRESENT TO YOU THE NEWEST ADDITION TO THE ARMSTRONG ARMY, MS. ADDISON MARIE ARMSTRONG...

Congrats! Maybe our boy and your girl will one day meet, fall in love, and bring disgrace to both of our families.

Woohoooo!!!!! I tried calling you busy parents yesterday and this morning... I think watching Candace with a little boy would be interesting... so having a girl is perfect! Have you bought any dresses and ribbons yet? I'm sure she anxiously awaits her books on farts! :-)
Oh and should Brad see this, I'm totally jealous he's going to see the Mountain Goats! I would kill to see them.
CONGRATULATIONS!! Guess you won't want any of Charlie's hand me down's then huh? Brad & I are so happy for you both, we found that there is nothing in the world as wonderful as when your baby smiles at you. Man, your heart will just melt.
